Jasper Benjamin Crawford

This poor blog has been idle far too long. Well, we have good reason to resurrect it now: Jasper Benjamin Crawford arrived in this world on March 26, 2010 at 5:37 in the morning. We had as easy a labor and delivery as could be asked for, and in the comfort of our own home. Jasper and Momma have both been doing exceptionally well since. Jasper surprised all of us by being a solid 9 lbs., 8 ozs. (his weight had been estimated a week earlier at about seven lbs., so this was quite a shocker). He was born two weeks before his due date, for which Momma is now very thankful! Miles could not be more pleased with his new buddy, and has been a model big brother, even going so far as to share his favorite blanket. Without further ado, we now present the boy himself:
